Job Description
We are opening up the French market and you can be part of the first team on the ground!
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced HR & Legal Manager to support Enpal’s expansion into the French market - a new and exciting venture for our company. This role is ideal for a professional with a strong background in French labor law, corporate legal compliance, and human resources management. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth establishment of our operations in France by overseeing legal compliance and building the local HR framework for our growing team.
Key Responsibilities:
Build and implement the HR structure for the French market, including policies, procedures, and employee handbooks, tailored to local labor laws and cultural norms.
Manage the recruitment process for new hires in France, ensuring compliance with labor regulations and alignment with Enpal’s culture and values.
Develop onboarding programs to support the smooth integration of new employees into the company.
Support employee relations by addressing workplace issues and ensuring a positive work environment.
Oversee payroll and benefits administration, ensuring compliance with French labor and tax laws.
Foster an inclusive and supportive workplace culture that reflects Enpal’s commitment to diversity and sustainability.
Qualifications
Legal Expertise: knowledge of French labor law, corporate compliance, and contract negotiation is essential.
HR Experience: Proven experience in human resources management, with a focus on establishing HR structures and processes in compliance with local laws.
Bilingual Communication: Fluency in French and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to navigate complex legal and HR issues and provide actionable solutions.
Organizational Skills: Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Team Player: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across functions and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Passion for Sustainability: A genuine interest in renewable energy and Enpal’s mission to drive the energy transition.
Educational Background: A degree in law, human resources, or a related field is required. Additional certifications in HR management are a plus.
