Job Description
We require a talented Senior Account Director with awesome digital and print experience to work in our Healthcare team. This role blends client relationship management with hands-on project delivery across digital and print platforms.
You’ll be the crucial link between our clients and internal teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standard. You’ll also help shape strategic thinking and inspire creative solutions that align with our clients’ objectives.
The Senior Account Director works with the Project Management and Client Services teams to deliver integrated (digital and print) projects to our Healthcare clients.
Strategy
- Oversee the production process, ensuring best-practice delivery across every touchpoint and strategic alignment throughout.
- Champion bold, creative thinking that drives meaningful impact for clients and within Orchard.
- Ensure strategic ideas are grounded in solving real business challenges and sell them with clarity and conviction.
- Be a valued voice throughout the entire marketing process, offering considered and informed opinions.
- Partner with planning to identify proactive opportunities that unlock growth for your clients and for Orchard.
- Drive effectiveness by ensuring all work is set up for measurable success in market.
- Stay ahead of trends and innovations that could benefit Orchard or our clients.
- Understand the broader capabilities across Enero and know when to bring the right people in.
- Bring a deep, practical understanding of all communication channels.
- Contribute to new business opportunities as required, bringing strategic rigor and insight.
Clients
- Know your client’s business inside and out—become an indispensable strategic and executional partner.
- Align internal teams to deliver with purpose, precision, and consistency against client marketing strategies.
- Build trusted, collaborative relationships with senior client stakeholders.
- Deliver the highest standard of client service and ensure the “brilliant basics” are always in place.
- Champion excellence in every interaction, across every deliverable.
- Be key client contact for integrated campaigns workstreams, ensuring meeting of third party media plans
- Be lead Orchard contact in agency village management across media and PR workstreams
- Proactively communicate project status and flag potential challenges early.
- Ensure the right talent is allocated to the right work.
- Be calm and solutions-oriented clients look to you to help solve their problems.
Financial Management
- Take responsibility for the financial health of your accounts manage with discipline.
- Ensure that concurrent projects are managed within project timelines and budgets by tracking projects weekly, following up on timesheet completion and participating in fortnightly BVA (budget vs actual) meetings
- Track weekly head hours and ensure projects are profitable upon completion.
- Maintain and manage accurate revenue forecasts and align resource planning accordingly.
- Ensure timely, accurate completion of timesheets.
- Identify and drive organic growth opportunities within your client base.
Operational
- Champion effective, scalable processes across all stages of project delivery. Utilise Orchard tool suite (Workbook, JIRA, PageProof) to effectively document and traffic work through the agency
- Be the quality gatekeeper nothing goes out the door unless it meets Orchard’s standards.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation.
- Ensure all work is legally compliant and doesn’t pose a risk to Orchard or carry out other duties as directed by your manager.
Qualifications
- 7+ years advertising agency experience (preferably in healthcare or similarly regulated industry)
- Strong digital and print production experience
- Strong understanding of marketing and commercial strategy
- Strong oral and written communication and skills
- Excellent organisational skills
- Excellent communication, presentation, and organisational skills.
- Financial acumen and attention to detail.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and work collaboratively.
- A flexible, adaptable, and proactive approach
