There’s nothing quite like the energy of a local Queensland pub - it’s where communities gather, big moments are celebrated, and great stories are shared. 

We’re looking for a two commercially minded, creative, and people-first Marketing Managers – Local Area Marketing, to join our Local Area Marketing Team and Queensland State Leadership Team. 

Reporting directly to the Head of Local Area Marketing, this unique role blends strategic team leadership with hands-on execution: you'll spend half your time coaching and inspiring a team of Local Area Marketing specialists across QLD, and the other half working directly as the hands-on marketing partner for 5 key venues

How You’ll Drive Impact

• State Leadership & Central Bridge: Partner closely with State Operations Managers and collaborate directly with our central marketing team to bring state-wide commercial opportunities to life, all while empowering and coaching your team of local specialists.
• Grassroots Publican Partnership: Roll up your sleeves alongside 5 local publicans, diagnosing venue-specific needs, solving trade challenges through lateral thinking, and executing targeted campaigns that keep guests coming back.
• Community & Trend Spotting: Maintain an active presence in the field to spot hospitality and consumer trends early, building vibrant networks with local suppliers, influencers, and community partners.
• Commercial & In-Venue Execution: Elevate the venue experience by bringing campaigns to life on the ground (POS, digital screens, visual merchandising) while managing regional budgets and upholding industry standards like ABAC and RSA/RSG.

Now let’s talk about you: 

• ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​8+ years in marketing, ideally leading multi-site hospitality or retail environments.
• Proven commercial acumen, with a track record of using insights to boost footfall and revenue
• Inspirational leadership skills, with a passion for developing talent and influencing cross-functional stakeholders 
• A tertiary qualification, preferably in marketing or equivalent practical experience.
