As a Program Manager - Retail Transformation Delivery, you will report directly to the Head of Retail Transformation Delivery. 

In this pivotal position, you will ensure the effective execution and delivery governance of complex transformation plans aligned to North Star targets. Acting as a central execution engine, you will drive day-to-day coordinated execution to support the Head Of role.

These multi-faceted, cross-functional programs will require you to expertly manage dependencies across diverse teams—including Retail Media, Customer, and Data & Digital — ensuring all elements seamlessly come together to deliver an aligned strategic vision.

Here's a snapshot of the responsibilities:   

  • Oversee and coordinate the overall program management for in-store transformation, maintaining direct on-site program management at the lab store. 
  • You will ensure all moving parts (including format, people, MixIn, Customer, and D&D) align to successfully transform the customer experience, while diligently tracking progress, planning store deployment details, and raising issues.  
  • Present complex information clearly to a wide variety of stakeholders. You will interrogate technical details and translate strategic stories to effectively influence transformational change at the Executive level, as well as for BWS and Dan Murphy's in-store teams. 
  • Use data-driven storytelling to build consensus across the business.  
  • Monitor financial performance closely to identify proactive cost-saving and revenue-growth opportunities. 
  • You will ensure strategic delivery programs meet or exceed North Star targets and drive the achievement of overall Retail scorecard metrics, including sales, margin, EBIT, and CODB targets. 
  • Proactively identify and assess operational risks within the transformation programs, proposing and implementing detailed mitigation plans. 
  • You will partner with the operations capacity planning team on the deployment pipeline and proper store prioritization, while collaborating with the merchandise team to plan the next iterations of category resets.  
  • Lead and participate in the implementation of change initiatives by providing practical support to teams. 
  • You will identify efficiency improvements for effective in-store change delivery and ongoing embedment, while governing program delivery to ensure all aspects meet regulatory and Endeavour Group compliance requirements..

Qualifications

Now let’s talk about you: 

  • You bring 6-8+ years of dedicated experience in strategy, management consulting, or senior commercial roles, preferably within Retail, FMCG, or a fast-paced, consumer-led industry. 
  • You possess a strong practical understanding of commercial operations, financial management, and business case validation.
  • Proven program office experience overseeing complex change in a dedicated Program Manager role. 
  • Demonstrated ability to translate strategy into action, lead business process re-engineering, and ensure disciplined execution that generates measurable value.
  • You possess a demonstrated drive for achieving commercial success, specifically meeting EBIT, sales, and Voice of Customer (VOC) engagement targets. 
  • You are skilled at leveraging data insights to optimize processes and anchor customer outcomes at the center of decision-making.
  • Lead indirectly across functions and leadership layers to engage, motivate, and drive results. You are adept at managing dependencies and collaborating with a vast network of internal partners, including BWS and Dan Murphy's Leadership/Operations, Merchandise, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, and Legal teams.
  • You are resilient, self-aware, and highly capable of adapting your leadership style to foster team wellbeing.
  • Driven by curiosity and a growth-oriented mindset, you thrive on innovation through rapid change.
  • You possess strong digital literacy, utilize data-driven decision-making.
