Join our marketing renewals team as the Marketing Manager to lead the rebrand and relaunch of our newly refurbished pubs. You will be responsible for brand creation and growth initiatives, championing innovative strategies to elevate our brand presence and drive impactful campaigns.

Leveraging a deep understanding of market trends, customer insights, and creative storytelling, you will craft compelling narratives that resonate with our audience. As a key player with two direct reports, you will be instrumental in shaping the market re-entry of each renewed pub, from defining its brand identity to launching engaging campaigns that successfully reconnect the venue with its community.

Here’s a snapshot of the Marketing Manager responsibilities:

  • Join Forces for Success - Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including Operations, Commercial, and Format teams, to develop and implement an innovative marketing growth program. Demonstrate the ability to influence and effectively manage differing opinions with composure. 
  • Innovate and Inspire - Lead initiatives to explore new creative concepts and innovative strategies that elevate our brand presence. 
  • Lead the Charge in Campaign Management -Take the lead in end-to-end campaign management! From coordinating with media and creative agencies to overseeing the development and execution of all media assets, you’ll ensure that every campaign is delivered on time.
  • Optimise and Innovate - Continuously enhance our ways of working by streamlining processes and fostering collaboration between external and internal stakeholders. 
  • Agency Management with Impact - You’ll oversee a diverse range of external agencies (creative and media), ensuring that projects are executed efficiently and effectively, achieving our goals with agility and speed.
  • Creative Excellence Across Channels - Be accountable for crafting compelling creative briefs across all channels. Your guidance will ensure that our concepts are on-brand, messages are clear, and customer journeys are seamless and engaging.
  • Cultivate Future Leaders - Develop a strong talent pipeline by providing regular feedback and creating development opportunities. 
     

Qualifications

Now let’s talk about you: 

  • Experience (5+ years) in a marketing role, with experiences in brand and campaign management.
  • Experience in developing and executing strategic plans over a 1-5 year horizon.
  • Creative flair and outside-the-box thinking to create innovative ways to go-to-market and experience in influencing internal stakeholders including marketing teams and your peers within a cross functional business.
  • Experience managing direct reports, external agencies and briefing creative teams.
  • Experience leveraging customer insights to derive a plan.
  • A demonstrated ability to communicate and influence effectively with all levels of team across a complex matrix operating model.
  • Excellent presentation and data storytelling skills.
  • Experience in hospitality is desirable.
  • Project management & agile mindset/experience required
  • Tertiary qualification, preferably in marketing or equivalent experience
