Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Integration Lead to drive the design, development, and delivery of enterprise integration solutions leveraging AWS cloud services and Apache Kafka, with MuleSoft as a secondary integration platform. This role requires a balance of hands-on technical expertise, solution design capability, and team leadership.
The Integration Lead will be responsible for defining integration patterns, guiding development teams, ensuring architectural best practices, and delivering scalable, secure, and high-performance integration solutions aligned with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and implement enterprise integration architecture leveraging AWS cloud services and Apache Kafka.
- Design scalable, event-driven, and microservices-based architectures.
- Establish best practices for Kafka topic design, partitioning strategy, schema governance, and message durability.
- Deep experience with AWS cloud architecture and services.
- Experience designing and implementing event-driven architectures and distributed systems.
- Participate in CI/CD implementation, deployment automation, testing, and post-deployment support.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, product teams, and enterprise architects to align integration strategy with business goals.
- Lead performance tuning, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis across distributed systems.
Qualifications
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise integration architecture.
- Strong hands-on expertise with Apache Kafka (Kafka Streams, Connect, Schema Registry, consumer group optimization, cluster tuning).
- Architect AWS-based integration solutions using services such as Lambda, API Gateway, ECS/EKS, S3, SNS, SQS, RDS, CloudWatch, IAM.
- Proven experience designing event-driven and microservices architectures.
- Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Experience implementing observability solutions (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.).
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, concurrency, scalability, and performance optimization.
- Excellent stakeholder communication and architectural documentation skills.
Nice to Have Skills
- Experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform (Design Center, Exchange, Runtime Manager).
- Knowledge of API-led connectivity and MuleSoft API design principles.
- Proficiency in DataWeave for data transformation.
- Experience integrating MuleSoft with databases, SaaS, and cloud services.
Preferred Qualifications
- 10+ years of engineering experience, including leadership responsibilities.
- Architect high-availability, fault-tolerance, and disaster recovery solutions.
