Job Description
General Accounting
- Responsible in overall accounting operations: report, taxation and ensure they are well prepared and managed to keep accounting up-to-date, in accordance with accounting standards, but also with company policy.
- Verify and record the Company's related financial transactions in the accounting software according to the scheme discussed with the Finance Managers and Project Managers (account / project code).
- Liaise with the external accountants and ensure accounting reports such as interim & year-end reports and taxes are correct.
- Assist with any other follow-up or reporting request from Management.
AP and Expenses
- Maintain periodic Accounts Payables list and prepare all related payments.
- Control expenses : suppliers, agencies, expense claims, payroll, common funds.
Bank and cash
- Prepare all the payment transactions (suppliers, Revenue Dept., SSF, TISCO, Payroll and other related with the company activities.)
- Perform monthly bank reconciliation.
- Perform monthly petty cash reconciliation.
- Being a key contact with the bank.
Taxes
- Coordinate with Revenue Department as per their requirements.
Closing and Audit
- Assist in the preparations for the year-end financial audit including providing all necessary documents, establishing relationship with external auditors.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field
- Experience in finance or accounting roles
- Strong knowledge of financial principles, GAAP/IFRS, and financial analysis techniques.
- Advanced MS Excel working experiences
- Systems experience Oracle preferrable.
- Agile with data and systems and attentive on the details
- Prior experience in corporate organisations - ideally Engineering/manufacturing MNC
