Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Risk Analyst to join our organization in AlUla, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating organizational risks across various business functions. You will work collaboratively with stakeholders to develop comprehensive risk assessments, implement risk management strategies, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical capabilities, exceptional organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining the highest professional standards.

  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and analyses across business operations, identifying potential threats and vulnerabilities
  • Plan and perform QSRAs using project schedules, logic, calendars, constraints, milestones, and critical paths.
  • Plan and perform QCRAs using cost estimates, cost breakdown structures, assumptions, allowances, and estimating uncertainty.
  • Perform Monte Carlo simulations to quantify cost exposure and determine P50, P80, P90, and contingency requirements.
  • Active Risk Manager (ARM): Manage risk registers, risk breakdown structures, qualitative and quantitative risk models, simulations, reporting, dashboards, and mitigation tracking.
  • Palisade @RISK: Develop cost and schedule risk models in Excel, apply probability distributions, perform Monte Carlo simulations, and conduct sensitivity, tornado, contribution, and correlation analysis.
  • Primavera Risk Analysis (PRA): Prepare P6 schedules for risk analysis, develop schedule risk models, perform Monte Carlo simulations, and analyze criticality, schedule drivers, and P50/P80/P90 completion dates.
  • Analyze financial data and business metrics to evaluate risk exposure and trends
  • Create detailed risk reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders
  • Monitor compliance with regulatory requirements and internal risk management policies
  • Collaborate with department heads and operational teams to understand business processes and associated risks
  • Recommend risk mitigation strategies and controls to reduce organizational exposure
  • Perform quantitative and qualitative risk modeling and analysis using appropriate tools and methodologies

Qualifications

​​​​​​Essential Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Risk Management, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in project risk management, project controls, or quantitative risk analysis.
  • Demonstrable hands-on experience conducting QSRAs and QCRAs.
  • Practical experience using Active Risk Manager (ARM).
  • Strong working experience with Palisade @RISK.
  • Strong working experience with Primavera Risk Analysis (PRA).
  • Experience with Monte Carlo simulation and probabilistic risk modelling.
  • Strong understanding of project schedules, cost estimates, risk registers, and project controls.
  • Experience analyzing probability distributions, confidence levels, risk exposure, sensitivity, and risk drivers.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Primavera P6 and integration of schedule data into quantitative risk models.
  • Experience of major capital projects, infrastructure, construction, energy, oil & gas, transportation, or similar industries.
  • Professional certification such as PMP, PMI-RMP, APM, IRM, or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of ISO 31000 and recognized project risk management practices.
  • Experience with project contingency management and risk-based forecasting.
