Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical BIM Technician specializing in Structures to join our team in Bengaluru, India. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and managing Building Information Models (BIM) for structural engineering projects, ensuring efficient and accurate representation of structural elements.

  • Develop and maintain 3D BIM models for structural engineering projects using Autodesk Revit and other BIM software
  • Collaborate with structural engineers to accurately represent structural elements and systems in BIM models
  • Create and manage construction documentation, including drawings and specifications
  • Perform clash detection and coordinate with other disciplines to resolve conflicts
  • Assist in quantity takeoffs and cost estimations using BIM data
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, standards, and project requirements
  • Participate in project meetings and communicate effectively with team members and clients
  • Stay updated on the latest BIM technologies and best practices in structural engineering

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field
  • 6+ years of experience in BIM for structural engineering projects
  • Proficiency in BIM software, particularly Autodesk Revit and Navisworks
  • Strong knowledge of structural engineering principles and building codes
  • Excellent 3D modeling and drafting skills
  • Experience with construction documentation and specifications
  • Solid understanding of structural analysis and design principles
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • BIM certification (e.g., Autodesk Certified Professional) preferred
  • Familiarity with local building codes and standards in India
