Job Description

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team in Bengaluru, India. In this role, you will design, develop, and optimize mechanical systems and components that drive innovation across our organization. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet project requirements, industry standards, and customer expectations.   • Design and develop mechanical systems, components, and assemblies using industry-standard CAD and modeling software, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and industry standards
  • Conduct detailed engineering analysis, including thermodynamic calculations, fluid mechanics assessments, and structural evaluations to optimize system performance and efficiency
  • Produce comprehensive technical documentation, including design drawings, schematics, specifications, and detailed reports that clearly communicate design intent and requirements
  • Collaborate with architects, electrical engineers, and other discipline specialists to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems within larger project frameworks
  • Perform equipment selection, sizing, and specification based on project requirements, operational parameters, and maintenance considerations
  • Conduct quality assurance and quality control reviews of designs and deliverables, identifying and resolving technical issues proactively
  • Support project teams through the design, procurement, and implementation phases, providing technical guidance and troubleshooting expertise
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, revision control, and adherence to established engineering governance processes
  • Mentor junior engineers and CAD resources, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence
  • Stay current with emerging technologies, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements relevant to mechanical engineering

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related engineering discipline; Diploma holders with equivalent professional experience will be considered
  • 5-10 years of professional experience in mechanical engineering, with demonstrated expertise in system design, analysis, and delivery
  • Strong proficiency with mechanical design and modeling software (CAD, Revit, or equivalent platforms)
  • Solid understanding of HVAC, plumbing, drainage, mechanical systems, or related building services; experience with large-scale and complex facility projects is highly valued
  • Comprehensive knowledge of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and mechanical system design principles
  • Experience with equipment selection, sizing, and specification for mechanical systems
  • Demonstrated ability to produce detailed technical documentation, drawings, and schedules with accuracy and clarity
  • Proficiency in quality assurance and quality control processes; familiarity with engineering governance and BIM standards is a plus
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical challenges
  • Strong collaborative and interpersonal skills with proven ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams
  • Solid project management fundamentals and ability to manage multiple deliverables and deadlines efficiently
  • Knowledge of relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and compliance requirements
  • Preferred: Professional Engineering (PE) certification or equivalent; experience with project coordination and client interaction
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; ability to present technical information clearly to diverse audiences
