Job Description

We're looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Rail Systems Maintenance Expert to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and safety of our rail infrastructure systems. The ideal candidate will bring extensive expertise in rail maintenance operations, a commitment to excellence, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. You will play a critical role in maintaining the reliability and safety of our rail network while leading maintenance initiatives and supporting our operational teams.

  • Conduct comprehensive preventive and corrective maintenance on rail systems, including tracks, signaling systems, rolling stock, and associated infrastructure
  • Perform detailed diagnostic analysis and troubleshooting to identify system failures and implement effective solutions
  • Maintain organized and accurate maintenance records, documentation, and reports in compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Coordinate with operations, safety, and engineering teams to ensure seamless maintenance execution and minimize service disruptions
  • Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety standards, regulatory guidelines, and company policies
  • Develop and manage maintenance schedules, resource allocation, and work prioritization to optimize operational efficiency
  • Conduct regular inspections and quality assurance checks to verify maintenance standards and system performance
  • Train, mentor, and supervise maintenance staff to ensure consistent adherence to best practices and safety protocols
  • Analyze maintenance data and trends to recommend system improvements and cost optimization strategies
  • Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests and coordinate rapid response efforts

Qualifications

  • Minimum 15 years of professional experience in rail systems maintenance or related infrastructure maintenance roles
  • Comprehensive knowledge of rail infrastructure systems, including track systems, signaling, power distribution, and rolling stock
  • Proficiency with maintenance management systems and computerized maintenance management software (CMMS)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose complex technical issues
  • Relevant safety certifications for rail operations and maintenance (or willingness to obtain)
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain detailed documentation
  • Demonstrated ability to work efficiently and systematically in a structured environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration
  • Preferred: Experience with automated or modern rail systems and technologies
  • Preferred: Project management experience or background in coordinating large-scale maintenance initiatives
  • Preferred: Familiarity with Middle Eastern rail standards and operational requirements
  • Preferred: Supervisory or leadership experience in maintenance operations
  • Preferred: Knowledge of rail safety management systems and regulatory compliance frameworks
