Job Description
We're looking for an experienced Senior Procurement Manager to join our team in AlUla, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will oversee all procurement activities for our PMC project, managing vendor relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring cost-effective sourcing while maintaining compliance with Saudi regulations and project specifications.
- Develop and execute comprehensive procurement strategies, ensuring alignment with project timelines and budget constraints
- Identify, evaluate, and select qualified vendors and suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery, and service criteria
- Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to achieve optimal pricing and favorable conditions while protecting organizational interests
- Manage vendor relationships and performance, conducting regular evaluations and addressing any compliance or quality issues
- Analyze market trends, pricing data, and supplier proposals to make informed procurement decisions and identify cost-saving opportunities
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with Saudi regulations, company policies, and project requirements
- Coordinate with project managers, engineering teams, and finance departments to align procurement with project needs and budgets
- Monitor inventory levels, delivery schedules, and supply chain performance to minimize delays and optimize project execution
- Prepare and maintain detailed procurement documentation, contracts, and records for audit and compliance purposes
- Manage procurement budgets and provide regular reporting on expenditures, savings, and key performance metrics
- Resolve procurement-related issues and disputes with vendors in a professional and timely manner
- Stay current with industry best practices, regulatory changes, and market developments in construction procurement
Qualifications
- Minimum 15 years of professional procurement management experience, with at least 5 years in construction or PMC residential projects
- Proven expertise in vendor management, supplier relationship management, and contract negotiation
- Strong analytical and cost management skills with demonstrated ability to identify savings and optimize procurement processes
- In-depth knowledge of Saudi Arabia's regulatory requirements, import/export regulations, and local procurement practices
- Proficiency in supply chain management, inventory control, and logistics coordination
- Experience with ERP systems and procurement software platforms
- Excellent organizational and project coordination skills with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement
- Demonstrated decision-making ability and problem-solving skills in complex procurement scenarios
- Saudi National
- Preferred Certifications: APICS, CIPS, or equivalent procurement certification
- Preferred Skills: Risk management, data analysis, and familiarity with construction industry standards and specifications
