The role covers CCTV, Access Control, Intrusion Detection, Perimeter Protection, and integration with security operations platforms (VMS/PSIM) and rail operational systems where required.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop basis of design, system architecture, and design deliverables for CCTV, ACS, IDS, and perimeter security (fence detection, gate controls, barriers/bollards interfaces as applicable).
- Prepare single line diagrams, schematics, device layouts, typical details, camera coverage studies, and door hardware/ACS interface schedules.
- Produce equipment schedules, Bill of Materials (BOM), and network block diagrams (core/distribution/access), including VLAN/segmentation concepts for security networks.
- Define storage, bandwidth, retention and video analytics requirements aligned to operational needs (public areas, back-of-house, depots, critical rooms).
- Develop control room / Security Control Centre layouts and integration requirements (video walls, operator consoles, incident workflows)
Integration (HSR Station / Depot / OCC)
- Define interfaces with OCC/CC operations, including integration with VMS/PSIM, incident management, alarms/events, and situational awareness.
- Coordinate interfaces with Telecom/ICT/SCADA/BMS/EMS, including time sync (NTP), cybersecurity boundaries, and system segregation between corporate, operational, and security domains.
- Ensure coordination with fire alarm, egress/doors, lifts/escalators (monitoring), building management systems, and public safety operations as required.
