Job Description
• Strategic Planning and Execution: Lead the planning, development, and execution of construction phases, aligning with the project's environmental goals.
• Team Management and Leadership: Oversee project managers, engineers, environmental specialists, and contractors, fostering a collaborative environment.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with government bodies, communities, environmental groups, and other stakeholders, ensuring effective communication.
• Budget and Resource Management: Manage the budget and resources, ensuring the project stays within financial and time constraints.
• Quality and Safety Compliance: Uphold quality and safety standards, complying with environmental regulations.
• Innovation and Sustainability: Promote innovative, sustainable practices, and utilize cutting-edge technologies.
• Risk Management: Identify risks, develop and implement mitigation strategies.
• Reporting and Documentation: Regularly report progress and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
• Tender Document Development: Lead the development of tender documents for construction projects, ensuring they are comprehensive, clear, and aligned with project objectives.
• Demonstrable experience in the construction management of large-scale development projects of substantial size and above average complexity
• Successful track record in leading and managing multi-disciplined engineering teams
• Ability to interface with key internal and external stakeholders at a senior level
• Ability to work with diverse stakeholders at all levels in order to negotiate win-win situations
• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills; with the ability to convey the right messages
• Ability to meet deadlines in a highly pressurized and ever-changing work environment
• Previous experience in a PMC and Construction projects
