Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Engineer to join our Building Engineering team in Wellington. In this role, you will manage medium to large projects, overseeing all stages from inception to delivery to ensure the successful completion of high-quality structural solutions for a diverse client base. You will work closely with internal teams to meet project objectives and deliver exceptional results.

Additionally, you will have the opportunity to mentor and support junior engineers, contributing to their technical and professional development. This role offers an exciting chance to play a key part in shaping the growth of Egis in Wellington, building a strong team culture and fostering a collaborative, high-performance environment.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree or similar qualification in Civil Engineering
  • 8+ years’ experience working in Structural Engineering space
  • CPEng status is desirable but not essential
  • Strong organisational and interpersonal skills for facilitating internal and external stakeholder engagements and business development opportunities.
  • Experience in successfully managing projects within budget and on time.
