Job Description
The Functional Application Analyst - Concur and Deployment Solutions Applications is responsible for day-to-day functional administration, configuration support, audit support, testing support, issue triage, reporting support, and release support for Deployment Solutions-supported applications, with a primary emphasis on Concur Expense administration. This role supports smooth and efficient travel and expense processes, policy compliance, financial accuracy, user support, and scalable Deployment Solutions application operations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Concur Platform Management:
- Administer and maintain the Deployment Solutions Concur platform, including user access, groups, permissions, workflow support, configuration updates, and routine system maintenance.
- Collaborate with Deployment Solutions IT, finance, compliance, vendors, and other IT teams to troubleshoot technical or functional Concur issues.
- Stay informed about Concur updates and enhancements and support testing or adoption of relevant changes.
Expense Report Processing and Audit Support:
- Review and support processing of employee expense reports submitted through Concur, as assigned by Deployment Solutions IT or finance process owners.
- Verify receipts, coding, policy adherence, and completeness of required expense documentation.
- Support Concur Audit and Verify processes, identify discrepancies or policy violations, and route issues for appropriate action.
- Support reconciliation of corporate credit card transactions and travel expenses where applicable.
Incident, Request, and User Support:
- Triage, investigate, resolve, or escalate ServiceNow tickets and Concur-related inquiries.
- Assist employees and Deployment Solutions users with Concur questions, troubleshooting, and how-to guidance.
- Support training materials, user guides, FAQs, and playbooks for Concur and other assigned Deployment Solutions applications.
Reporting, Testing, and Continuous Improvement:
- Generate or update Concur reports to track expense trends, identify issues, and provide operational insight.
- Support UAT, regression testing, release readiness, deployment checklists, and post-release validation.
- Identify recurring issues, rework drivers, or manual process opportunities and recommend improvements.
- Support functional administration for other Deployment Solutions applications or future supported platforms as assigned.
- Demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion through continuous development, modeling inclusive behaviors, and proactively managing bias.

Qualifications
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
The requirements listed below are representative of the experience, education, knowledge, skill and/or abilities required.
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, data analytics, engineering, business systems, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
- 2+ years of experience administering or supporting Concur Expense Management.
- 2+ years of experience supporting Concur-related integrations, such as MedPro, Veeva, and other connected systems.
- 2+ years of experience auditing expense reports, validating receipts, reviewing coding, or supporting travel and expense compliance.
- 2+ years of experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 or integrating finance/application data across systems
- 2+ years of experience with ServiceNow, ticketing tools, reporting tools, or enterprise application support processes.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, communication skills, and ability to follow controlled support processes.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Certification in Concur Administration or related SAP Concur learning.
- Experience with application testing, UAT, or offshore support delivery.
- Demonstrated ability to leverage AI-assisted solutions to streamline support processes, improve issue resolution, enhance user experience, and reduce repetitive manual activities within enterprise applications.
- Experience working within life sciences and/or other healthcare related fields.
- Experience supporting client-facing operations, shared services, or managed service environments.
