Job Description

We are looking for an Atlassian Platform Engineer.

The role includes aiding in the design and development of cross-tooling standards for configuring and managing projects, access to products, reporting on project details and product roadmaps, and the evangelism of Agile workstream principles, including the iterative delivery of work.

Additionally, the role will have responsibility for meeting the Jira Service Management analyst, development, and administration needs of the Customer and Global products business unit.

Under the Solutions Engineering team, the candidate will work closely with other current Engineering, Project, and Product teams, including Site Reliability Engineering, Patient Services, and EVERSANA’s various Project Management and Business Analysis teams.

The ideal candidate will foster a collaborative environment by leaning on a background in several types of engineering, including Systems or Software Engineering, customer service, and one or multiple Agile project frameworks.

 

Responsibilities

  • To ensure Atlassian administration and development work is managed and implemented in a controlled and timely manner.
  • To enable the integrations between multiple Atlassian products and third-party tools.

Qualifications

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

The requirements listed below are representative of the experience, education, knowledge, skill and/or abilities required.

  • 3-6 years of development experience of Atlassian systems (Atlassian Cloud)
  • 2-3 years of system administration experience of Atlassian systems (Atlassian Cloud)
  • Experience in the design, build, customization and roll out of advanced Jira workflows (script runner plus automation), and schemes
  • Experienced in the selection and implementation of Marketplace apps
  • Experience developing custom plugins for JSM/Jira
  • Ability to drive business analysis / requirements sessions
  • Test and delivery of solutions/workflows and integrations with solutions such as Jira software projects, Bitbucket, Confluence, ServiceNow, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, etc.
  • Knowledge and application of best practices for JSM/Jira
  • Knowledge of ITSM practices and how they are fulfilled with JSM
  • Ability to work in agile framework
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-starter with fine-tuned problem-solving skills.
  • Strong analysis, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to provide fact-based point of views, while maintaining utmost flexibility.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Graduate in Engineering (B.E./B.Tech.) from a reputed engineering institution
  • Experience with ITSM processes and tools such as JSM, ServiceNow is required.
  • Experience with Atlassian Jira, Confluence, and MS Azure DevOps Boards is required
  • Atlassian certification ACP-620/ACP-120 is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with Trello, Bitbucket and/or Atlassian Guard is an advantage
