Job Description

This geography includes the East Coast to include Atlanta, Charlotte, New Jersey, New York, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Jacksonville, Tampa, and Orlando.

THE POSITION:

The Regional Business Director is responsible for the development and performance of all sales activities in an assigned market.  This position staffs and directs a specialized sales team and provides leadership towards the achievement of maximum profitability and growth in line with company vision and values.  The RBD will need to observe and identify market opportunities and challenges and subsequently develop, plan, implement, and follow through with action plans to positively influence opportunities and challenges within and through their team; this includes the development of team members towards corporate growth.  Evaluation of success, optimizing the opportunity and effectively communicating results back to headquarters are important aspects of the role.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Our employees are tasked with delivering excellent business results through the efforts of their teams.  These results are achieved by:

  • Coordinate in-field activity to achieve results and agreed-upon Specialty targets
  • Maximize market, segment, and team dynamics to drive both top- and bottom-line results
  • Ensure smooth, collaborative efforts in both day to day and long-term business execution
  • Develops and implements strategic plans for the Region
  • Set tone and pace for business process and organization
  • Maintain required technical expertise in order to respond accurately to all questions regarding products, policies, and business-related issues from customers and representatives
  • Effectively plan and conduct plan of action and other meetings with members of the Corporate Leadership
  • Manages Region budget and overall responsibility for P&L at Region level in alignment with Corporate expectations
  • Has complete understanding of all relevant compliance laws, policies and processes
  • Ensures actions of self and team are fully compliant
  • Provide direction and insights to key internal partners in business planning process
  • Consistently exemplify both EVERSANA and Client’s Cultural Beliefs and high ethical standards
  • All other duties as assigned

  • Coach, mentor, educate and develop direct and indirect team members to enhance individual selling skills and elevate overall team performance
  • Hold direct reports accountable to behaviors and expectations
  • Interview, select and supervise the activities of the department staff; communicate interpret and discuss with team the company policies and procedures.
  • Determine job objectives, work methods and performance standards; review performance relative to departmental objectives discussion appraisal with each employee and performance; authorize and communicate salary changes, promotions, transfers, discipline and discharge and administer all other personnel actions.

Qualifications

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

The requirements listed below are representative of the experience, education, knowledge, skill and/or abilities required.

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college/university require
  • Experience and/or Training At least 7 years in the Pharmaceutical Industry.  At least 5 years in Pharmaceutical Leadership Role.
  • Neurology experience preferred
  • Licenses/Certificates Clean Driving Record
  • Technology/Equipment Computer Skills; Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and videoconferencing platforms (Teams, Zoom, GoTo Meeting)
