Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to support a large-scale digital transformation program within an international organisation.
The program brings together several strategic digital initiatives focused on improving operational efficiency, strengthening digital capabilities, reducing costs and creating a sustainable foundation for future growth.
As Business Analyst, you will act as the link between business stakeholders, IT, engineering and delivery teams. You will translate business needs into clear requirements and ensure that business objectives, value, costs, dependencies and delivery scope remain aligned throughout the lifecycle of each initiative.
This is a role for someone who enjoys working in a complex environment where multiple projects, stakeholders and priorities need to be brought together.
Your responsibilities
- Lead the development and maintenance of business cases for digital initiatives.
- Define assumptions, baselines, costs, benefits and timelines.
- Identify and document dependencies between projects and initiatives.
- Analyse quantitative and qualitative business value, including cost savings, cost avoidance, revenue opportunities, operational improvements, compliance, health & safety and long-term competitiveness.
- Establish and maintain business case tracking and benefits monitoring.
- Assess the business impact of changes to project scope, timelines, costs or solution approaches.
- Gather, refine and prioritise business requirements together with stakeholders.
- Ensure requirements are clearly linked to business objectives and can be delivered and tested by project or agile teams.
- Develop requirements supporting solution selection, procurement, tender processes and implementation planning.
- Facilitate requirements, prioritisation, business case and benefits workshops.
- Support change management activities and ensure that business changes are successfully adopted.
- Provide analysis and recommendations to project and program management.
- Maintain clear documentation of assumptions, risks, dependencies and open questions.
Key deliverables

- Business analysis reports and requirements specifications.

- Quantitative and qualitative value assessments.
- Business case updates and benefits tracking.
- Documentation of risks, assumptions, dependencies and open issues.
- Input into solution selection and procurement decisions.
- Requirements supporting project implementation and governance.
- Analysis supporting change management and benefit realisation.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate brings:
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Business Administration, Finance, Enterprise Automation or a related field.
- Several years of experience in business analysis and requirements management.
- Experience within the energy sector or another asset-intensive environment is highly desirable.
- Proven experience developing business cases within digital transformation or technology programs.
- Experience with benefit definition, baseline development, assumption management and benefits tracking.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to work with both quantitative and qualitative business value.
- Experience identifying dependencies between business requirements, technology, implementation timelines, data and operating models.
- Experience facilitating stakeholder and requirements workshops.
- Good understanding of corporate IT environments and digital delivery organisations.
- Experience working across business, IT and engineering teams.
- Knowledge of areas such as renewable energy, asset management, maintenance, monitoring & control, asset data, financial reporting or program governance is an advantage.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
