Job Description

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise integrations and microservices
  • Modernize legacy ESB solutions into cloud-native architectures
  • Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments
  • Build integrations using REST, SOAP, OAuth, and messaging technologies (AMQP)
  • Work with Apache Camel, Quarkus, Kubernetes (AKS), and Azure services
  • Monitor and optimize platform performance, reliability, and scalability
  • Contribute to integration standards, governance, and best practices
  • Collaborate closely with DevOps, platform, and engineering teams
  • Drive continuous improvement and automation initiatives
  • Support troubleshooting, performance tuning, and operational stability

Qualifications

 

  • Proven experience as a Java Developer or Java DevOps Engineer
  • Strong knowledge of Java, Apache Camel, and microservices architecture
  • Experience with Kubernetes, containers, and cloud platforms (Azure)
  • Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and Azure DevOps
  • Experience with APIs, integration technologies, and messaging systems
  • Familiar with Agile Scrum and DevOps practices
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proactive mindset with a focus on quality and continuous improvement

Nice to have

  • Experience with Quarkus and Azure Service Bus
  • Knowledge of integration governance and enterprise integration patterns
  • Experience in regulated industries (e.g. banking, utilities, insurance)
  • Familiarity with SAFe Agile
