As a Contract Manager, you'll play an important role in supporting the performance of our renewable energy assets. Your commercial expertise will help us build strong supplier partnerships, manage risk, and make sure our contracts deliver the best outcomes for both our business and the low-carbon future we're creating.

The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to influence how some of the UK's renewable energy infrastructure is operated and maintained. You'll work across a varied portfolio of service contracts, helping to ensure suppliers deliver safely, effectively and in line with business expectations. From supporting procurement activities through to leading negotiations and managing contract performance, you'll have a direct impact on operational success.

Who You Are

We're looking for an experienced Contract Manager who is commercially minded, collaborative and confident building strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders. You'll enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where no two contracts are the same. To be shortlisted, you need to offer…

• Experience managing operational, maintenance or service contracts and supplier performance management
• Experience working within renewable energy, civil works, infrastructure, construction or engineering
• Proven experience leading commercial negotiations and managing contract variations
• Experience supporting procurement and tendering activities, including supplier evaluation and contract award processes
• Experience managing governance, claims and dispute resolution activities
• Experience managing operational maintenance, facilities management, civils, infrastructure, construction or building services contracts
• Strong commercial awareness with the ability to balance operational priorities and commercial outcomes
• Knowledge of Health & Safety requirements and their commercial implications (IOSH desirable but not necessary)
• A basic knowledge of building & civils works / Quantity surveying background (Desirable but not necessary)

What You'll Be Doing

• Managing strategic supplier relationships, performance and driving accountability across operational contracts
• Leading contract negotiations, renewals, amendments and change control activities
• Supporting procurement and tendering processes from supplier evaluation through to contract award
• Managing commercial risks, claims and contract disputes while protecting EDF's commercial interests
• Working closely with operational teams to make sure contracts support business performance and strategic objectives
• Identifying opportunities to improve value, reduce costs and drive continuous improvement
• Making sure contracts remain compliant with governance, contractual and health and safety requirements
• Providing contract management expertise and advice to stakeholders across the business
