Job Description

The Habilitative Program Administrator (HPA) will serve as a member of the Washington State Clinical Team, creating and overseeing habilitative plans for adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities in the Supported Living Program in Tacoma.

  • Use information and data collected through direct observation and meetings with individuals supported to develop Functional Assessments and Positive Behavior Support Plans (PBSPs)
  • Develop Individual Support Plan Programs for individuals on caseload
  • Train team members on plans and program implementation 
  • Partner with program directors to implement support plan programs 
  • Using electronic data collection system (Therap), review data and compile reports for other members of support team on behavior and habilitative goal progress
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of tracking spreadsheets for relevant due dates and person-centered planning meetings
  • Keep up to date on all relevant state policy changes
  • Maintain open lines of communication with stakeholders outside the organization, i.e. guardians and DDCS partners
  • Attend support planning meetings as required

Qualifications

What Makes You a Great Fit: 

  • Must have a master's degree in psychology, behavior analysis, mental health, special education, social work, or other related discipline. Will also consider candidates in the last semester of obtaining master's degree. 
  • 2+ years of experience with individuals with intellectual developmental disabilities (IDD)
  • Experience with writing functional assessments and positive behavior support plans for individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, mental health, and/or challenging behaviors
  • Strong administrative skills with demonstrated experience 
  • Strong leadership skills with ability to train and mentor support teams 
  • Experience with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strongly preferred
