Eligible Applicants must have a Valid Drivers License AND 6 months of professional work/Volunteer experience supporting vulnerable populations (ex. caregiver, nanny, paraeducator, direct support professional, etc.)

  • Full Range Scale $18.00 - $20.05 per hour (the rate of pay and pay scale provided for this position are based on title and geographical location)

Job Description

We are seeking compassionate Direct Support Professionals to assist children ages 12-21 with disabilities; behavioral or medical complexities in our residential program. 

As a Direct Support Professional (DSP/Caregiver), you will support children with activities that focus on increasing their independence. As a DSP/Caregiver, you will work with children to provide coaching, supervision, and role modeling life skills. The job may also include transportation, medication administration, meal preparation, and assistance with personal cares. 

Qualifications

  • Valid driver's license required
  • 6 months of professional work experience supporting vulnerable populations required (ex. caregiver, nanny, paraeducator, direct support professional, etc.) 
  • 6 months of volunteer experience may be used in leui of professional work experience. 
  • 18 years of age or older 
  • High School Diploma or GED
