Wage $17.50
Full Range Scale $17.50 - $19.50
The rate of pay and pay scale provided for this position are based on title and geographical location.

Job Description
About the position:
As a Driver at Dungarvin, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and transportation needs of the individuals we serve. Your responsibilities will include operating our van, collaborating with team members to optimize transportation schedules, and maintaining the vehicle. We're looking for someone who can adapt to changing schedules and is committed to creating efficient and effective transportation solutions.

Responsibilities
- Drive the van and transport individuals to various destinations on a daily basis.
- Collaborate with team members to create efficient transportation schedules using scheduling software.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of van operation to ensure safe and efficient transportation.
- Complete weekly safety checklists and ensure vehicle cleanliness.
- Maintain daily mileage logs and monthly maintenance logs.
- Adapt to changing transportation needs and adjust schedules accordingly.
- Interact positively with individuals served, family members, case managers, and the public.
- Provide backup coverage as assigned for vacations, illness, or emergencies.
- Be flexible with schedule changes, including weekends and holidays.
- Ensure the van is safe and sanitary for transportation.
- Respond effectively to emergencies and follow procedures.
- Notify the supervisor of needed repairs or concerns.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Punctuality and the ability to meet deadline.
- Ability to adapt to changing schedules.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Complete Basic Orientation and attend recommended in-service training.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
