As a Program Director, you'll play a pivotal role in providing progressive and goal-oriented supports to individuals with developmental disabilities in the community. Job Description

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • The Program Director will help create a lasting positive impact on people's lives by leading a team of Direct Support Professionals who coach, mentor, and encourage others to reach their goals
  • Ensure meaningful community integration activities for the people we serve
  • Development of Individual Service Plans (ISP) and the coordination of behavioral supports. Oversight of all  Day Program operations including developing and monitoring quality services, budgets and financial responsibilities, facility, and fleet management
  • Training and supervision of staff
  • Compliance with regulations, policies, and procedures
  • Collaboration with stakeholders and regulators, including families, residential providers, Harbor Regional Center, and Community Care Licensing 

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

  • 3 years’ experience is a human services field working with individuals who have  intellectual/developmental disabilities
  • 2 years management or supervisory experience in a human services field

PREFFERED:   

  • Bachelor's degree in human services field (Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Allied Health, Educational Psychology, Sociology, Human Services, etc.) 
  • Experience working with Community Care Licensing and knowledge of Title 22 and Title 17 regulations.

HOURS:

  • Full-time exempt position (40 hours per week).
  • Schedule must have flexibility to accommodate program, individual, and staff needs
  • Program operates M-F 7:30am – 6:30pm
