Wage: $39.55/hour

Job Description
ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to help support the continuous enrichment and development of individuals with disabilities within the Portland, Oregon metro community.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
The RN's main functions for this role will be to provide primary health care, monitor health conditions, plan long-term care needs, advise patients on their illness, care and provide continuity of care.
- Conduct routine site visits with patients, checking vitals, doing assessments, counseling of medication administration, and documenting progress utilizing Therap.
- Ensure that everyone receives quality, individualized health care management, resulting in their optimal health.
- Assure health care documentation and reporting meets licensing, contracting requirements, and organizational policy.
- Promote the concept of teamwork and facilitate appropriate involvement of team members to promote quality healthcare supports.
- Act as a health/medical resource for staff, training, and delegation of staff.
Qualifications
MUST HAVE:
- Proven 2 years of nursing experience (can include schooling).
- In-depth knowledge of health and safety guidelines and procedures (sanitation, decontamination etc.)
- Solid computer and documentation skills.
- Valid driver license with acceptable driving record.
- Reliable transportation and current auto liability insurance.
- A current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Oregon
NICE TO HAVE:
Prior experience working with individuals with intellectual, physical, and behavioral disabilities.
