Job Description

Role Summary

 

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented professional to drive end-to-end operational execution and business alliance management across North Africa and Taiwan markets. The role serves as a key link between external partners and internal cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of commercial operations, regulatory activities, supply chain management, product launches, technology transfer, localisation projects, and portfolio expansion initiatives.

The incumbent should have strong project management, stakeholder engagement, business planning, and operational governance capabilities to support sustainable business growth and successful delivery of strategic objectives across the region.

 

Key Responsibilities

Business Alliance & Partner Management

  • Serve as the key operational interface for business partners, distributors, and licensing partners across North Africa and Taiwan.
  • Build and maintain strong partner relationships through structured engagement, governance reviews, issue resolution, and performance tracking.
  • Ensure timely execution of partner commitments and business priorities while ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Monitor business risks, escalate critical issues proactively, and drive closure through effective stakeholder coordination.

Commercial Operations & Supply Execution

  • Ensure smooth execution of commercial operations through effective coordination of purchase orders, demand planning, supply allocation, shipment tracking, and inventory management.
  • Partner with Supply Chain and country teams to ensure product availability and mitigate supply-related risks.
  • Support market expansion initiatives and launch readiness by coordinating operational requirements across functions.
  • Monitor business performance and identify opportunities to improve execution efficiency and customer service levels.

Regulatory & Market Launch Coordination

  • Collaborate with Regulatory Affairs teams and external partners to facilitate submissions, registrations, renewals, variations, approvals, and agency responses.
  • Track critical regulatory milestones and ensure alignment with launch plans and business objectives.
  • Coordinate cross-functional launch activities to support successful commercialization of new products and lifecycle management initiatives.

Technology Transfer & Localisation Projects

  • Drive operational coordination for technology transfer, site transfer, localisation, and manufacturing-related projects.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, governance mechanisms, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Drive timely execution by coordinating activities across Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain, and partner organizations.
  • Monitor project progress, identify bottlenecks, and facilitate resolution to ensure delivery against agreed timelines.

Tender Management & Business Planning

  • Support tender management activities, including opportunity tracking, document preparation, submission coordination, and post-submission follow-up.
  • Maintain portfolio, launch, and business trackers to support strategic planning and execution.
  • Analyze sales, market, supply, and portfolio performance data to generate actionable business insights.
  • Support annual operating plans, portfolio prioritization, and growth initiatives through data-driven analysis and recommendations.

Governance, Reporting & Process Excellence

  • Develop and maintain business dashboards, MIS reports, project trackers, and management review materials.
  • Establish governance mechanisms to improve visibility, accountability, and execution discipline across markets.
  • Ensure proper maintenance of commercial, regulatory, contractual, and operational documentation.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve reporting capabilities, and enhance operational effectiveness.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or a related discipline.
  • MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification preferred.

Experience

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical operations, alliance management, project management, commercial operations, supply chain, or related functions.
  • Experience working with international markets, distributors, licensing partners, or strategic alliances.
  • Proven track record of managing cross-functional projects involving Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality, and Commercial teams.
  • Exposure to technology transfer, localisation initiatives, product launches, lifecycle management, or market expansion projects is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of pharmaceutical business models, commercial operations, and partner-led market structures.
