Job Description
1. Trade Claims Processing
- Receive, review, and validate customer trade claims.
- Verify claims against approved schemes, contracts, promotions, rebates, and trade agreements.
- Ensure complete supporting documentation is available before processing.
- Process credit notes, deductions, rebates, and settlements within defined SLAs.
2. Claims Validation & Controls
- Validate customer eligibility, promotion period, volumes, rates, and commercial terms.
- Identify duplicate, incorrect, or non-compliant claims.
- Escalate disputed or exceptional claims for approval.
- Maintain proper audit trail and supporting documentation.
3. Financial Accounting & Reconciliation
- Support monthly trade accrual review and reconciliation.
- Ensure claims are adjusted against appropriate accrual balances.
- Coordinate with Finance to ensure accurate GL coding and accounting treatment.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities relating to trade spends.
4. Dispute Resolution
- Coordinate with Sales, Commercial, Customer Service, and Finance teams to resolve claim disputes.
- Track open claims and ensure timely closure.
- Follow up with customers for missing documentation or clarifications.
5. Reporting & Analytics
- Prepare periodic reports on:
- Claims received and processed
- Aging analysis
- Rejected claims
- Outstanding deductions
- Trade spend utilization
- Identify trends and recommend process improvements to reduce claim cycle time and errors.
6. Compliance & Governance
- Ensure adherence to company policies, trade agreements, and SOX/internal control requirements.
- Support internal and external audits by providing claim documentation and reconciliations.
- Highlight potential risks, leakages, or control gaps.

B.Com / M.Com / MBA / CA Semi Qualified / CMA Semi qualified
