- Oversee and manage daily store operations, ensuring smooth functioning and adherence to company standards
- Lead, motivate, and support team members in a positive and inclusive work environment that fosters growth and development
- Manage shift operations efficiently, including opening and closing procedures, while maintaining attention to detail
- Handle cash management, financial transactions, and reconciliation with accuracy and transparency
- Assist in inventory management, supply ordering, and stock rotation to optimize store resources
- Respond promptly and empathetically to customer inquiries and resolve issues with a customer-focused approach
- Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and strict adherence to food safety and health standards
- Participate in food preparation and delivery processes as needed to support team operations
- Collaborate with the store manager to implement company policies, analyze performance metrics, and achieve organizational goals
- Train, develop, and mentor new team members, providing constructive feedback and support for their career growth
- Assist in scheduling, payroll management, and workforce planning to ensure adequate staffing levels
- Demonstrate resilience and decisive problem-solving in fast-paced, high-pressure situations
- Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure transparency and alignment on objectives
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food service or retail management (preferred)
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop others
- Excellent customer service orientation with a friendly, positive, and empathetic attitude
- Proficiency in cash handling, basic math skills, and financial accuracy
- Demonstrated ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and time management skills
- Flexible availability to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities with decisive decision-making skills
- Proficiency in operating point-of-sale (POS) systems and other store technology platforms
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Conflict resolution and interpersonal skills to manage team dynamics effectively
- Experience with inventory management and supply chain coordination
- Food safety knowledge or willingness to obtain food safety certification
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Ability to work collaboratively and contribute to an inclusive team environment
