Job Description

- Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations and executing strategic business goals with precision and accountability
- Lead, train, mentor, and motivate team members to maintain high performance standards and foster professional development
- Deliver exceptional customer service by promptly addressing inquiries, resolving issues with empathy, and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Manage inventory operations, including ordering, receiving, stocking, and analyzing merchandise data to optimize stock levels
- Create and adjust employee schedules strategically to optimize staffing levels while considering team member availability and business needs
- Handle cash transactions accurately and maintain meticulous financial records with attention to detail
- Implement, enforce, and communicate company policies and procedures consistently across all team members
- Maintain a clean, organized, safe, and welcoming work environment that complies with health and safety regulations
- Participate actively in marketing initiatives and promotional campaigns to drive sales and increase customer engagement
- Analyze sales data, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations for operational and sales improvements
- Support conflict resolution and address performance issues with transparency and fairness
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and enhance operational efficiency
Qualifications
- Proven experience in retail or food service management, preferably in an Assistant Manager or supervisory capacity
- Strong leadership skills with demonstrated ability to motivate, develop, and inspire team members
- Excellent customer service skills with a genuine customer-focused mindset and commitment to satisfaction
- Proficiency in inventory management systems and employee scheduling software
- Experience with cash handling, Point of Sale (POS) systems, and financial record-keeping
- Solid understanding of retail or food service operations and local health and safety regulations
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with the capacity to manage competing priorities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly across all levels
- Proven problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and metrics
- Experience in budget management and financial acumen
- Demonstrated conflict resolution and team coaching capabilities
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Retail Management, or related field (preferred)
- Proficiency with retail management software and digital tools (preferred)
