Job Description

We're excited to announce an opening for an Assistant Manager position at our Maplewood, United States location. As an Assistant Manager, you'll play a crucial role in supporting daily operations, leading team members, and ensuring exceptional customer service.

  • Assist the General Manager in overseeing daily operations and achieving business goals
  • Lead, motivate, and develop a team of employees to deliver outstanding performance
  • Ensure high standards of customer service and address customer concerns promptly
  • Implement and maintain company policies, procedures, and safety standards
  • Manage inventory, control costs, and optimize resource allocation
  • Participate in hiring, training, and performance evaluations of team members
  • Create and adjust employee schedules to meet business needs
  • Analyze sales data and implement strategies to improve performance
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Handle cash, credit transactions, and daily financial reporting
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations
  • Step in for the General Manager when necessary

Qualifications

  • Proven leadership experience, preferably in a similar industry
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Customer service-oriented with a positive attitude
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office, POS systems)
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check
  • Reliable transportation with proof of auto insurance
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
