We're looking for an enthusiastic and goal-oriented Assistant Manager to join our team in Fenton, United States! As an Assistant Manager, you'll play a crucial role in supporting daily operations, leading team members, and ensuring exceptional customer service. - Assist the General Manager in overseeing daily operations and ensuring smooth workflow
- Lead, motivate, and train team members to maintain high performance standards
- Ensure excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly
- Collaborate with the management team to implement company policies and procedures
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed
- Assist in creating employee schedules and managing staff coverage
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Participate in cost control measures and help optimize operational efficiency
- Contribute to marketing initiatives and promotional activities
- Support the recruitment and onboarding process for new team members
- Analyze sales data and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement
- Handle cash management and daily financial reporting responsibilities
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role, preferably in a food service or retail environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team
- Excellent customer service skills and a customer-focused mindset
- Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in basic math and computer skills, including point-of-sale systems
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick, sound decisions
- Flexible availability to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (2 years experience if 18 or 1 year if 19 or older)
- Reliable transportation with proof of auto insurance
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in business or related field preferred
- ServSafe certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days of employment
