Job Description
Safely drives company commercial vehicle over or on established route(s), perform loading and unloading product processes and render customer service to Domino's Pizza store locations. Ensure that all tasks performed are done safely, including wearing proper PPE.
Pay: $25.00
Schedule: Mon-Fri 5:00 AM 1:30 PM - Weekends off
(70%) Warehouse Associate
- Maintains safe work area through general housekeeping and performs sanitation functions as required
- Ensure you have the required safety equipment and PPE
- Receives incoming product shipments and compares vendor inventory sheet or distribution purchase order to product received for accuracy and inventory control with the use of a handheld scanner
- Uses "First In, First Out" (FIFO) procedure to ensure proper rotation of existing stock
- Accurately select/pull products for store orders and check orders for accuracy
- Safely stacking products on dollies and/or pallets
- Loads truck according to company specifications for maximum delivery accuracy
- Secures load within the cargo area of the truck through the use of load bars or straps
- Assist the Production Department as needed
(30%) Drive, Deliver, and Unload Product
- Responsible for verifying and securing load prior to dispatch
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle safety inspections
- Safely drive the assigned truck on designated route(s) to deliver the product to Domino's Pizza stores; may be required to run routes as part of a team or as a single driver.
- Safely deliver the product by rolling stacks of dough and product from the truck to lift the gate into/from stores
- Verify dough, store cooler and trailer temperatures at each stop, and ensure the accuracy of delivery
- Safely load the product onto a dolly and unload the product at each customer location. Rotate stock in cooler, then move delivered product into cooler (when required)
- Pick up damaged and empty tray containers/carts/dollies and deliver them to Supply Chain Center
- Safely Reposition and secure the remaining product/tray containers/carts in the trailer after each delivery
- Listen to and timely resolve customer service complaints
- Required to always wear and follow Domino's Pizza uniform standards while working
- Attend scheduled safety, team meetings, and training sessions when required
- Follow all local, state, federal, and Domino's safety rules, policies, and procedures
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Six months of verifiable CMV driving experience, one year preferred
- Must have a valid class B Commercial Driver's License [CDL] w Air Brakes
- Must maintain a DOT Med Cert
- Must meet the Company MVR standards to drive company commercial motor vehicle (11 pts)
- Must pass DOT physical
- Must successfully pass a background check every third year on your anniversary date
- Must be able to work around yeast and flour
- Must successfully pass a background check every third year on your anniversary date
- Understanding of safe lifting practices
- Company certification to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts or pallet jack
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to stand and/or walk for long periods of time, climb stairs, and lift to 50 lbs. frequently and 100 lbs. on occasion, perform heavy pushing/pulling of product, work in refrigerated conditions [33-38 degrees], freezer conditions [-10-0 degrees] and outdoor weather [rain, sleet, heat, snow, etc.], and work in an environment with exposure to loud machinery, when necessary.
