Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Technical Project Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in driving the success of our projects by bridging the gap between technical and business teams, ensuring that our solutions meet the highest standards and align with business goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Gather, understand, and define business requirements.
  • Manage project roadmaps, prioritize tasks with stakeholders, and communicate teams’ priorities based on business value, workload and any other relevant factors.
  • Develop the project's technical and functional specifications based on business prerequisites and partner API specifications, collaborating with both technical and business teams.
  • Liaise with technical teams to ensure the feasibility of proposed solutions and contribute to the technical design in line with requirements.
  • Create project plans in consultation with all stakeholders and closely monitor progress.
  • Organize and lead meetings with project stakeholders to evaluate progress, identify potential risks, and address issues.
  • Communicate regular updates and provide detailed reports on project progress to relevant stakeholders.
  • Conduct end-to-end testing and validate deliverables against specifications, including analyzing logs from various platforms.
  • Apply established project management processes and methodologies within the company (methods, management tools, indicators, etc.).

Qualifications

Desired Profile:

  • Experienced professional with a Master's degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
  • At least 3 years of experience in technical project management, ideally in the telecom sector.
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken French and English.
  • Technical expertise: APIs, XML, JSON, databases, connectivity (VPN and IP whitelisting), etc.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Jira).
  • Knowledge of project management frameworks (PMP, Scrum, etc.).
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (Kibana, Tableau, Looker) is a plus.
  • Understanding of mobile protocols and technologies (SMS, USSD, WAP, SMPP) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of mobile payment systems is a plus

  • Strong technical and functional knowledge with excellent writing skills (in both English and French).
  • Analytical and proactive approach.
  • Ability to work in a globally distributed organization (Egypt, Morocco, France, etc.).
  • Coordination skills for collaborating with multiple teams with various specialties.
