What's the Job?
We're looking for a Human Resources Coordinator who enjoys helping people, solving problems, and keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes. As part of our HR Service Centre team, you'll support employees and leaders across the organization while ensuring HR transactions, employee data, benefits administration, and HR processes are completed accurately and efficiently.
This role is ideal for someone who combines strong customer service skills with technical aptitude and attention to detail. You'll work in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift quickly, requiring someone who is adaptable, resourceful, and eager to learn. Whether you're troubleshooting a system issue, auditing employee data, supporting a benefits question, or helping a teammate meet a deadline, you'll take a hands-on approach and do what's needed to support the team and deliver a great employee experience.
What You'll Do
- Process employee lifecycle transactions including new hires, terminations, promotions, transfers, and organizational changes
- Maintain accurate employee records and documentation within Dayforce
- Respond to employee and manager inquiries related to HR processes, benefits, and employment information
- Administer benefits enrolments, changes, and terminations
- Support payroll timelines by ensuring HR transactions are processed accurately and on schedule
- Generate reports, perform audits, and validate employee data to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Assist with Dayforce workflows, user access requests, and system troubleshooting
- Prepare employment letters and support HR Business Partners and HR leaders with administrative activities
- Create and maintain HR process documentation, user guides, and training materials
- Support HR projects, process improvements, and other team initiatives as required
This is a fully remote position based in Ontario. Occasional travel to our Mississauga office will be required for team meetings, training, and collaborative sessions.
Qualifications
Who We're Looking For
- A Great Attitude!
- A university or college education in Human Resources Management or a related field.
- 1 to 3 years of experience supporting HR administration, employee lifecycle processes, or customer-facing business operations.
- A strong customer service mindset and genuine desire to help employees and business leaders.
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to learn new systems, processes, and technology quickly.
- Experience working with HRIS platforms, databases, or other business systems.
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to work confidently with reports, data, and spreadsheets.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- A proactive, team-first approach and willingness to jump in wherever support is needed.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a high-volume environment.
- Experience supporting unionized and non-unionized employee groups is considered an asset.
- CHRP designation (or progress toward designation) and Dayforce experience are considered assets.
