Job Description
WHAT'S THE JOB?
We are looking to hire a talented Call/ Receipt/ Dispatcher to the Dexterra On Demand Team. The Call/ Receipt/ Dispatcher is crucial for ensuring that requests and services are handled efficiently and effectively, maintaining a high level of service for customers or clients.
Call/Receipt
- Responding to customer inquiries, support requests, or emergency calls.
- Collecting relevant information from callers, such as location, nature of the issue, and urgency.
- Offering assistance, troubleshooting issues, or directing callers to appropriate resources.
- Documenting details of calls and interactions in a system for record-keeping and follow-up.
- Processing various forms of requests (could be service requests, inquiries, or confirmations) from customers or clients.
- Inputting information about requests into a database or a tracking system.
- Ensuring that all necessary information is accurate and complete before proceeding to the next steps.
- Informing clients about the status of their requests or any necessary additional steps.
Dispatch
- Organizing the deployment of personnel, vehicles, or resources in response to requests received.
- Using radios, phones, software, or other communication tools to relay information to dispatch teams or field operatives.
- Assessing the urgency and importance of requests to determine dispatch order.
- Keeping track of dispatched services to ensure timely response and service delivery, adjusting plans as needed.
Qualifications
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- Minimum 2 year experience in a similar role is required
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and workflow efficiently.
- Quickly addressing issues and identifying solutions when problems arise.
- Ensuring that all information is accurately recorded and processed.
- A high level of service for customers or clients.
