WHAT'S THE JOB?

The Supply Chain Specialist performs some or all the following duties:

• Assist in the implementation, and maintenance of new and existing supply chain processes 
• Assist in the development of roadmaps that are in line with Dexterra Groups Inc’s competitive strategy and policies, for multiple categories.
• Participate in the development of specifications for equipment, products, or substitute materials.
• Identify cost savings and value-added opportunities for assigned categories.
• Identify and determine suppliers through RFX analysis and internal stakeholders’ requirements.
• Work predominantly with our Supply Chain Support Services, but also link with other business units, nationally and internationally, to establish where synergies and economies of scale exist. 
• Analysis of existing and new industry trends within a given category.
• Participating in the seamless roll-out of category strategy initiatives across the organization that deliver results in-line with the category strategy.
• Develop and maintain supplier contracts 
• Bring forward ideas for process improvements as it relates to Supply Chain initiatives.
• Relationship management with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Support operational excellence across the organization related to supply chain initiatives. 
• Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• Post-secondary education at an accredited University or College with a degree or diploma in Supply Chain, Business or Commerce or commensurate experience.
• Advanced computer skills a must.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills and with a proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• 3-5 years of foodservice contract experience
