Job Description

WHAT'S THE JOB?

Reporting to the Quality & Sustainability Manager, the main duties and responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:

  • Receive, organize, store, and track incoming and outgoing mails and packages
  • Implement Check incoming deliveries to make sure all ordered material meets quality standards
  • Load and unload packages
  • Organize stock in the most efficient way
  • Pull material to fulfil orders properly
  • Wrap some packages and place them on skids for delivery
  • Monitor inventory levels for hazardous waste supplies and suggest new orders when needed
  • Document orders, materials and any stock movements
  • Ensure to strictly follow safe handling of mail and packages policies and procedures are followed
  • Set up training rooms in accordance with clients’ needs and requirements. Ensure training room set up is updated and close out tasks when they are done
  • Attend to any furniture moving requests from clients
  • Ensure material handling tasks are responded and completed on time

Qualifications

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • Proven experience as a Material Handler, Warehouse Associate or similar position
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Familiarity with voice picking systems or two-way radio device
  • Experience in using warehouse equipment (e.g. pump trucks, pallet jacks)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Dexterity and attention to detail
  • Organizational skills and Reliable, organized and dependable
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the job and ability moderate to heavy lifting
  • High school diploma
