• Lead and mentor a team of frontend engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative development environment
• Design and implement scalable frontend architecture for our e-commerce platform, ensuring performance, maintainability, and accessibility
• Establish and enforce coding standards, best practices, and development processes across the frontend team
• Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to drive continuous improvement in code quality
• Analyze and optimize application performance, identifying bottlenecks and implementing solutions
• Stay current with emerging frontend technologies and evaluate their applicability to our platform
• Drive technical decision-making and contribute to the overall technology roadmap for retail and e-commerce initiatives
• Participate in system design discussions and contribute to architectural decisions
• Support the recruitment and onboarding of new frontend team members

• 6-10 years of professional frontend development experience 
• Strong hands-on experience with React and React Native in production environments
• 4+ years of experience in a technical leadership or senior engineering role with team mentoring responsibilities
• Strong knowledge of TypeScript and modern JavaScript.
• Experience with state management tools such as Redux, Zustand, or similar.
• Familiarity with Azure Cloud and Azure DevOps.
• Good understanding of: Microservices, Event-driven architectures, SQL / NoSQL databases
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Demonstrated expertise in e-commerce platform development and retail technology solutions
• Proven ability to design scalable system architecture and make sound technical decisions
• Experience with performance optimization, accessibility standards (WCAG), and responsive design
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across teams
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus
• Nice to Have experience in fintech, banking, or other regulated environments.
