Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled OpenShift and/or Kubernetes Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing and supporting OpenShift and/or Kubernetes environments, with a strong focus on administration, image management, project integration, and automation. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the health and performance of our clusters while actively participating in infrastructure improvements and automation efforts.
Monitor the health of OpenShift and Kubernetes clusters and engage in necessary corrective actions as needed.
Perform updates and upgrades on OpenShift and Kubernetes clusters in accordance with best practices.
Install new OpenShift clusters following existing procedures and standards.
Participate in a weekly on-call rotation to provide support and maintenance.
Build "Factory" images from the base images of the Red Hat catalog, utilizing Dockerfile and Jenkins pipelines.
Assist with development and automation tasks across the entire OpenShift scope.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in OpenShift 4.X and/or Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with ArgoCD, Helm, Grafana, and Prometheus for deployment and monitoring.
- Experience with Red Hat Advanced Cluster Management (RHACM).
- Proficiency in automation using Ansible and programming/scripting in Python.
- Solid understanding of version control using Git.
- Linux system administration experience is required.
