• Lead and manage the finance team, providing guidance and mentorship to staff
• Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company's goals
• Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, local tax regulations, and reporting requirements
• Analyze financial data and provide insights to support decision-making
• Implement and maintain robust internal controls and financial systems
• Collaborate with senior management to drive financial performance and efficiency
• Manage relationships with external auditors, banks, and regulatory bodies
• Oversee treasury operations, including cash flow management and financing activities

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; Master's degree preferred
• Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent
• Minimum 7-10 years of experience in financial management roles, preferably in a multinational corporate environment
• Advanced skills in financial modeling, analysis, and forecasting
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and Portuguese tax regulations
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of management
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
• In-depth understanding of financial operations and corporate finance
• Knowledge of Portuguese financial regulations and reporting requirements
• Fluency in English and Portuguese; additional language skills are a plus
• Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience managing high-performing teams
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
