As an analytics engineer at Devoteam G Cloud you will be working with our customers to implement and enable Looker, Google’s enterprise platform for BI, data applications, and embedded analytics.

Working in a consultancy like ours means that your work will be ever changing and, we think, never boring. One day you’ll be working on a long term project where you gather requirements and produce dashboards for their business users. The next day you’ll help kick-start the Looker implementation with another customer with training and/or working together with their existing team.

So while you might start off focusing exclusively on the BI side of things you should not pigeonhole yourself. If you want to learn more about Data Engineering or improve your coding skills we’ll be more than excited to help you develop in those areas by providing you with courses as well as internal mentoring.

Must haves

• Experience with BI tools (Looker, Tableau, Looker Studio, Power BI)
• Strong SQL knowledge, for example: window functions, joins, CTE’s
• Experience with Git
• Experience with dbt and/or Dataform

Nice to haves

• Any Cloud (GCP, Azure, AWS)
• Data modelling and data warehousing concepts
• Looker and LookML, specifically 
• Any programming language (Python, R,..)
• Orchestration tools (Apache Airflow, Dagster, Mage…) 
• Understanding of columnar databases (BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift)
• Basic understanding of Data Engineering

• Ability to lead clients through requirement gathering, even when the client doesn't know what they want.
