Job Description
Purpose
Develop, design and review infrastructure solutions and assess new technologies for investment. Articulate the transition from current to future architectural state in consideration of the future needs of the business, security policies and requirements, and striking an optimal balance between standardization, customization, innovation, costs and risk management. Communication, negotiation and influencing skills at different levels, particularly with DSM Experts, Bid Managers, Sales Consultants, Enterprise Architects and Production, locally and internationally within DTAG, customers and suppliers.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
- Lead Delivery Solution Manager owns the architectural design through the initial phases of the design (request, concept and high level), and hands over the design after customer order for detailed phases of the design to delivery management
- This role is ideal for someone who enjoys complex solution work, can connect technical and commercial topics, communicates clearly with different stakeholders and is confident in challenging unclear assumptions or missing ownership.
- Creates a solution(s), architectural design, costing calculations and acquire necessary approvals in cooperation with the Deal Team based on customer requirements defined in RFP
- This senior role requires communication, negotiation and influencing skills at differing levels particularly with DSM Experts, Bid Managers, Sales Consultants, Enterprise Architects and Production locally and internationally within T-Systems, customers and suppliers.
- LDSM identifies opportunities for adding business value via reduction of operational costs and improvement of service levels.
- Creates and regularly reviews the contract draft and documentation.
- Handles discussions and collaboration with 3rd party partners in regards to the deal, back to back agreements and integration into the Deal team.
- LDSM presents the Solutions and Solutioning approach, up to board-level audiences (internal and external) and handles the stipulations and takeaways.
Main responsibilities:
- Lead the overall solution design for complex and high-risk factor customer deals.
- Translate customer requirements into feasible technical solution concepts.
- Structure solution streams and coordinate inputs from expert teams.
- Review RfPs, service descriptions and contract-related solution content.
- Align architecture, costing, pricing assumptions, ITSM, security and delivery feasibility.
- Identify risks, dependencies, open points and required decisions.
- Support customer presentations, offer preparation and technical negotiations.
- Ensure clear documentation and structured handover to delivery.
Qualifications
YOU WILL SUCCEED IF YOU:
- Hold a degree in Information Technologies or a related field
- Have professional experience in ICT Analysis, Architecture & Design and demonstrate broad knowledge of enterprise ICT technologies
- Speak German at an advanced level (C1)
- Speak English at an upper-intermediate level (B2)
- Have proven experience in Solution Architecture, Presales, Delivery Solution Management, or Complex Technical Consulting
- Demonstrate strong commercial awareness, including managing costs on projects and across large-scale initiatives
- Have the ability to plan and coordinate work activities over the medium and long term in support of strategic objectives and initiatives
- Be capable of presenting complex ideas, concepts, and technical solutions to senior non-technical stakeholders
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of end-to-end ICT solutions and customer requirements
- Have experience with RfP reviews, offer preparation, costing activities, or delivery handovers
- Be able to coordinate multiple stakeholders across technical, commercial, and delivery functions
- Be able to identify risks and dependencies proactively and escalate them when required
- Have general knowledge of ITSM principles, ServiceNow, SLA/KPI management, IT security, service delivery, and service management processes
- Demonstrate leadership capabilities and strong stakeholder management skills

Salary
Final salary is negotiable.
We are offering base salary depending on seniority level and previous experience of candidate. In addition to base salary we provide variable part and other financial benefits. Base salary will not be lower than 2300 €/ brutto.
