Job Description

Business Operations/ Financial Controller is responsible for respective  controlling area. He/she provides financial and strategic judgments on business transactions, measures, and projects, and on new technologies, business models, and market developments. Coordinates strategic planning processes for assigned business unit(s) and taking on planning and forecasting activities in the high-level strategic task area. Devises forecast models and long-term scenario studies for business model development. The role incorporates the authority to steer, manage, drive and do financial controlling of group-wide financial KPIs within assigned area - mainly order entry, order backlog, customer result, production variance, TWC, EBIT, etc.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

  • 🔹 Project & Operational Controlling 
  • Monitoring costs, revenues, CAPEX
  • Analyzing variances vs. budget/forecast, identifying root causes and proposing actions, 
  • Contributing to forecasting & budgeting cycles, 
  • Support the invoicing and accrual process 
  • Running month-end closing, year-end closing 
  • Preparing regular and ad-hoc reports and analyses that directly support business decisions. 
  • 🔹 Reporting & Analysis 
  • Creating clear, business-oriented reports, 
  • Explaining trends and recommending next steps, 
  • Transforming data into meaningful insights. 
  • 🔹 Processes & Data 
  • Mapping and improving data-related processes, 
  • Enhancing data quality, consistency, and reporting standards, 
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders. 
  • 🔹 Power BI & BI Projects  
  • Participating in Power BI development projects, 
  • Helping improve data flows and reporting automation. 

Qualifications

YOU WILL SUCCEED IF YOU:

  • Have master degree in Economics/Finance 
  • Have 2+ years of experience in controlling, 
  • Work confidently in Excel (you’re an expert), 
  • SAP (advantage) and Power BI (advantage), 
  • Don’t just prepare numbers but thinks about them — asks why and what it means for the business, 
  • Are curious, proactive, and eager to learn, 
  • Enjoy exploring data, seeing patterns, and suggesting improvements. 
  • Speak English & German fluently

Salary

Final salary is negotiable.

We are offering base salary depending on seniority level and previous experience of candidate. In addition to base salary we provide variable part and other financial benefits. Base salary will not be lower than 1500€ /brutto.
