Job Description
Head of Controlling is responsible for the entire controlling area in Switzerland. He/she provides financial and strategic judgments on business transactions, measures, and projects, and on new technologies, business models, and market developments. Coordinates strategic planning processes for assigned business unit(s) and taking on planning and forecasting activities in the high-level strategic task area. Devises forecast models and long-term scenario studies for business model development. The role incorporates the authority to steer, manage, drive and do financial controlling of group-wide financial KPIs within assigned area - mainly order entry, order backlog, customer result, production variance, TWC, EBIT, etc.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
- Responsibility to generate correct overview reports on LBU Switzerland level
- Lead, support and develop controlling team to deliver effective business partnering. Support senior management on key topics, report on operational performance and provide insight into key areas, whilst driving and steering business performance to deliver targets
- Ensure that all internal and external reporting requirements are delivered timely and accurately (month end, half year, year end, clean audit)
- Manage all forecast and budgeting activity and liaise with Swiss counterparts throughout the forecasting and budgeting timelines.
- Find solutions for day to occurring issues and topics for operations, accounting and other departments
- Coordination of relevant closing processes within required responsibilities on a LBU level
- Head of Controlling is a top knowledge & operational authority with a operational responsibility for controlling team
- Head of Controlling assigns operational responsibilities to the team.
- Reporting directly to CFO in Switzerland
Qualifications
YOU WILL SUCCEED IF YOU:
- Have master degree in Economics
- ACCA or CIMA qualifications.
- Have at least 10 years experience in finance sector
- Are expert in MS Office, advanced in SAP and intermediate in PowerBI
- Have analytic skills, ownership and time management on expert level,
- Have communication and organization skills on advanced level
- Are expert in result interpretation, reporting and financial processes overview
- Are expert in budgeting, planning and data analytics
- Speak fluently German & English

Salary
Final salary is negotiable.
We are offering base salary depending on seniority level and previous experience of candidate. In addition to base salary we provide variable part and other financial benefits. Base salary will not be lower than 2300€ /brutto.
