Job Description
We`re team of experts who are responsible for steering bid preparation for complex customer projects. As a BID Manager III you will steer of bid preparation from invitation to tender through to contract conclusion. The holder of the position is overall responsible for the Bid deliverables and adherence to internal policy and procedures as well as client specific requirements that may be relevant to the deliverables.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
Role
• Lead the end to end management of bids, ensuring high quality and on time responses to customers.
• Manage the complete lifecycle of bid projects (Opportunity Assessment to Contract signature & Handover to Delivery).
• Ensure all submissions are prepared on time and to a high standard, in accordance to company Sales Governance Process and conform to the sign off process.
Responsibilities
• Develop and manage the bid costs together with the lead solution manager for all phases of the bid
• Plan the production of proposal or contract schedule submissions to the client.
• Coordinate the amalgamation of all proposal parts, delivered by solution team, HR, Finance & Controlling, Legal affairs or other internal or external units.
• Identify, present and evaluate risks of the proposal and contract in collaboration with all involved units (Risk Tool set & RAID Log)
• Be able to understand commercials of a bid and able to support escalation of costs where required
• Lead Win / Loss review
Bid Team Management
• Identifies and secures appropriate resources and team support required to develop, package and price custom solutions.
• Create a plan and drive the kick off meeting and key strategy meetings throughout the bid
• Lead the virtual bid team to deliver a high-quality response on both new prospect and existing client opportunities
• Clearly communicates requirements of the team and resolves ambiguity
Governance
• Manage internal stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery of the bid
• Manage all points of sales governance with key business stakeholders
• Initiate processes and delivers documents for the approval boards and manages escalations as appropriate.
• Coordinate and accompany the handover process to transition & transformation team.
Qualifications
YOU WILL SUCCEED IF YOU:
- Achieved master’s degree
- Are fluent in English language (C1), German language is an advantage (B1)
- Have minimum 3 years’ experience in ICT Analysis, Architecture & Design
- Have good MS Office skills - Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint
- Are able to effectively manage all those who input into the response/submission.
- Are highly-organised and can coordinate the work of others
- Understand technologies in the telecommunications industry well enough to challenge the solution
- Are confident and able to communicate clearly to senior management and customers
- Have ability to lead, enthuse and motivate a team of solution, financial, commercial and legal contributors in achieving a successful deal submission
- Have excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise work
- Excellent Communication and negotiations skills
- Strong stakeholder management
- Strong Excel and financial / commercial literacy

Salary
Final salary is negotiable.
We are offering base salary depending on seniority level and previous experience of candidate. In addition to base salary we provide variable part and other financial benefits. Base salary will not be lower than 2 500 € /brutto.
