Job Description

About the Role: 

As a Buyer / Procurement Deal Manager at T-Systems, you will be the central point of contact for all procurement-related aspects of customer deals. You’ll coordinate activities between internal customers and procurement functions, ensuring that procurement processes run smoothly from the initial deal phase through to final client proposal delivery. Your role will involve managing procurement risks, maintaining accurate deal documentation, and driving successful outcomes across complex projects.  

Key Responsibilities: 

- Serve as the primary procurement contact for third-party supplier needs, especially for new business and contract extensions. 

- Manage all procurement-related aspects of customer deals from initiation to final proposal delivery. 

- Coordinate procurement activities, including prioritizing tasks, managing timelines, and handling change requests. 

- Develop and communicate project-specific solutions in collaboration with international sourcing and support teams. 

- Resolve escalations and collaborate closely with supply chain, legal, tax, and regulatory functions to ensure seamless operations. 

- Document incidents and lessons learned, ensuring continuous improvement. 

- Maintain transparency over deal-related contracts and critical contract elements. 

- Contribute to central vendor management initiatives. 

- Manage procurement-related risks for all deals. 

- Lead customer deal related tactical sourcing initiatives (incl. internal specification alignment, longlist- shortlist & final supplier selection, leading contract finalization, manage PO creation process and document selection & contract creation according to guidelines. 

- Work within global category strategies, existing framework agreements and preferred supplier lists  

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree with 5-10 years of professional experience, depending on expertise. 

- Strong IT knowledge, particularly in digital, cloud, software, and hardware procurement. 

- Fluent in English (Dutch is a pre) 

- Experience working with MS Office and ERP systems (e.g., SAP). 

- Experience in managing complex projects, B2B environments, and IT sourcing.
