Job Description
We are looking for an experienced/senior software engineer for our Digital Hub Mediation Team, which is responsible for processing and mediating data streams for mission-critical applications. We use Mediation Zone by Digital Route, deployed partly on FCI and partly on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Our deployments are fully automated through modern CI/CD pipelines. Most of our team members are based in Prague and Leipzig and we are extending our team in Budapest right now. English is our primary working language.
In this position you would be able to work on a key platform for data mediation with modern technologies and cloud infrastructure.
Your responsibilities would be
- Software Development:
- Design and implement modules within Mediation Zone
- Develop scripts and tools to automate processes
- DevOps & Operations:
- Manage and optimize deployments on GCP
- Monitor systems, troubleshoot issues, and ensure performance
- Guarantee platform stability and scalability
- CI/CD:
- Maintain and enhance our pipeline infrastructure
- Integrate automated testing and quality checks into deployments
Qualifications
We are looking for
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, Python)
- Experience with cloud environments (preferably GCP)
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI)
- Operational Expertise:
- Understanding of system operations, monitoring, and incident management
- Experience with logging and observability tools
- Soft Skills:
- Strong communication skills in English
- Ability to work independently and solve problems effectively
- Collaborative mindset for distributed teams
