Job Description
Within Customer Finance & Partnering domain we develop and operate the necessary softwares for credit checks in real time, fraud prevention, process payments, automatically allocate and book incoming payments or manage the collection process.
Almost 14,000 users of our service companies DTSE & DTS receive all the necessary information from us and manage their business via our applications.
The HUB currently operates 10 of these systems, works according to SAFe, and employs approx. 100 colleagues, who are distributed in 11 teams across locations in Germany, Hungary, and Slovakia
We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to support our MIKO team. You will play a key role in ensuring the availability and proper operation of the application.
Application
MIKO (Magenta Inkasso) is an IT application based on micro-services (M-SOA) that bundles existing and future applications, workflows and processes, thus offering the user a central interface and central access to these applications, workflows and processes. MIKO maps existing functions and future extensions from TDG's collection processes.
Qualifications
Tasks and Responsibilities
Ability to understand developers' code and classify changes
Maintain and adapt existing CI/CD pipelines, and create new ones
Ensure the daily operation of the application
Skills
Technical Skills
Java/JavaScript programming: Ability to understand developers' code and classify changes
IT architectures: Client/Server, Microservices
GitLab CI/CD pipelines: Maintain and adapt existing pipelines, and create new ones
Basic knowledge of AWS (MIKO runs on AWS)
Basic understanding of application operations: Ability to check and ensure that an application is functioning correctly on a daily basis
Soft Skills
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Problem-solving and analytical skills
Language Skills
Excellent written and spoken English
German is a plus
