Job Description

Department

This position is filled in the IoT Technology team of Deutsche Telekom IT solutions Hungary. The team consists of IT professionals working on big data, data analytics, data sharing and IoT solution implementation projects.

Project

In your future project you will directly work with our customer from the energy solution industry, dedicated to decarbonization of major industries in global economy. Together with the T-Systems International Data Intelligence Business unit team members you will join to an international team supporting our customer. A key focus will be the development of the existing analytics environment of our customer to explore, develop and orchestrate analytics, including simple rule-based models and machine learning algorithms.

Main tasks

  • develop and implement data-driven solutions to support business objectives and drive company growth
  • collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as software engineering, product management, and business stakeholders, to identify and prioritize high-impact data initiatives
  • build and maintain scalable, efficient, and high-performing data systems, leveraging big data technologies
  • design and conduct experiments, analyze large and complex data sets, and extract insights to inform business decisions
  • communicate complex technical concepts and results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, using data visualization and other means as needed
  • Versioning of analytical model output – providing an end user analytical model version information, for example, where an analytic model has been retrained, computational model has been changed, etc
  • Account split of analytics platform – ensuring isolation of analytics platform workloads and resources in the production environment from those workloads and resources in the development, staging, pre-production environment.
  • Integration of analytics platform with cold store, including abstraction of hot and cold store resources for model development, training and processing
  • Analytics development and deployment for non-software developers – visualization and framework for non-software developers to “wire” algorithms in a low-code environment
  • Collaborate with other teams in an international environment (Germany, Hungary, Spain)

Qualifications

Background and required skills

  • Bachelor or master’s degree in the following areas: Computer science, Engineering or Information Technology or equivalent work experience in IT
  • 2-5 years of overall IT experience of which majorly in technologies involving python and analytics frameworks
  • At least 1 years’ experience in development of complex frontends
  • should be very well conversant in some of the below:

 

    • Excellent knowledge and experience in writing analytics code in python with standard frameworks (tensorflow, pytorch, scikit-leran, etc.)
    • Experience with AWS Sagemaker (Notebooks, Jobs)
    • Experience with pycharm IDE
    • Experience in data model visualization (Grafana)
    • Experience with Docker/Kubernetes/DevOps is a plus
    • One who can contribute as a ‘team-player’ - troubleshoot issues /help team-members when need arises & participate in knowledge-sharing actively.
  • Excellent Git and git branching strategies knowledge
  • Exposure to DevOps and continuous integration/deployment concepts is a must
  • Candidates must have very good communication skills, the roles involve demonstration of product / solutions to internal and external stakeholders
  • Candidates need good English written and oral skills.
